ByblosPay is a mobile payment application launched by Byblos Bank SAL that gives customers the experience of quick and secure contactless payments. The solution is based on Host Card Emulation (HCE) and NFC technology enabling Byblos Bank SAL customers to perform contactless payment transactions from their mobile phones. Customers can make payments from the app at retail stores whether their device is in online or offline mode without the need to carry their physical card.
ByblosPay features:
· The ability to perform payments from any Android 4.4 KitKat mobile device or newer.
· Multiple card digitization, thus giving customers the option to pay with Byblos Bank SAL Visa credit card.
· The ability to make in-store payments without the need for an internet connection.
· Worldwide acceptance wherever the contactless symbol is found.
· Ease and convenience with an app that used just like a contactless card.
· Full control to the customer – the mobile device never leaves the cardholder’s hand.
